The STELDA study aims to develop a theoretical framework of YOD stigma and stigmatization that is empirically grounded in the lived experience of people living with younger-onset dementia (PlwYOD) and their significant others and to identify ways of counteracting YOD stigmatization processes in the sociocultural context of Germany on a lifeworld level. The research question is as follows: How do PlwYOD and their adult significant others experience stigma and stigmatization based on YOD in their lifeworlds, and what implications do these experiences have for their actions in their lifeworlds? The study is designed as a constructivist grounded theory (CGT) study. Qualitative episodic interviews with community-dwelling PlwYOD and their adult significant others will be conducted to give participants the opportunity to share their individual narratives and express their subjective views. As an outcome, recommendations for action will be developed for the public and for professionals in diverse settings. On a methodological level, novel insights will be gained regarding specific issues related to qualitative research with PlwYOD and their significant others. 000268791 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-353$$a353 - Clinical and Health Care Research (POF4-353)$$cPOF4-353$$fPOF IV$$x0 000268791 588__ $$aDataset connected to DataCite 000268791 7001_ $$0P:(DE-2719)9002235$$aHohmann, Andreas$$b1$$udzne 000268791 7001_ $$0P:(DE-2719)9002474$$aYilmaz, Betuel$$b2$$udzne 000268791 7001_ $$0P:(DE-2719)2812481$$aTeupen, Sonja$$b3$$eLast author$$udzne 000268791 773__ $$0PERI:(DE-600)2135788-2$$a10.1177/16094069241232346$$gVol. 23, p. 16094069241232346$$p16094069241232346$$tInternational journal of qualitative methods$$v23$$x1609-4069$$y2024 000268791 8564_ $$uhttps://pub.dzne.de/record/268791/files/DZNE-2024-00334.pdf$$yOpenAccess 000268791 8564_ $$uhttps://pub.dzne.de/record/268791/files/DZNE-2024-00334.pdf?subformat=pdfa$$xpdfa$$yOpenAccess 000268791 909CO $$ooai:pub.dzne.de:268791$$pdnbdelivery$$pdriver$$pVDB$$popen_access$$popenaire 000268791 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588)1065079516$$6P:(DE-2719)9002522$$aDeutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen$$b0$$kDZNE 000268791 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588)1065079516$$6P:(DE-2719)9002235$$aDeutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen$$b1$$kDZNE 000268791 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588)1065079516$$6P:(DE-2719)9002474$$aDeutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen$$b2$$kDZNE 000268791 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588)1065079516$$6P:(DE-2719)2812481$$aDeutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen$$b3$$kDZNE 000268791 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-353$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-350$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-300$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$aDE-HGF$$bGesundheit$$lNeurodegenerative Diseases$$vClinical and Health Care Research$$x0 000268791 9141_ $$y2024 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0200$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bSCOPUS$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0160$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEssential Science Indicators$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0130$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bSocial Sciences Citation Index$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0LIC:(DE-HGF)CCBY4$$2HGFVOC$$aCreative Commons Attribution CC BY 4.0 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0600$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEbsco Academic Search$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0100$$2StatID$$aJCR$$bINT J QUAL METH : 2022$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1180$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bCurrent Contents - Social and Behavioral Sciences$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0501$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bDOAJ Seal$$d2023-01-29T12:52:09Z 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0500$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bDOAJ$$d2023-01-29T12:52:09Z 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0700$$2StatID$$aFees$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0510$$2StatID$$aOpenAccess 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0030$$2StatID$$aPeer Review$$bASC$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0561$$2StatID$$aArticle Processing Charges$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)9905$$2StatID$$aIF >= 5$$bINT J QUAL METH : 2022$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0430$$2StatID$$aNational-Konsortium$$d2023-08-22$$wger 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0300$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bMedline$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0199$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bClarivate Analytics Master Journal List$$d2023-08-22 000268791 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0030$$2StatID$$aPeer Review$$bDOAJ : Double anonymous peer review$$d2023-01-29T12:52:09Z 000268791 9201_ $$0I:(DE-2719)5000076$$kAG Teupen$$lMethods in Health Care Research$$x0 000268791 980__ $$ajournal 000268791 980__ $$aVDB 000268791 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000268791 980__ $$aI:(DE-2719)5000076 000268791 9801_ $$aFullTexts
