Abstract: Aging is the most significant risk factor for Parkinson's disease (PD), yet its role remains underexplored. The International Network for Parkinson's Disease Modelling and Aging (PD-AGE), funded by the Michael J. Fox Foundation, was established to address these challenges. Through collaborative efforts, the PD-AGE mouse-model working group developed a roadmap to prioritize mouse models, reach consensus on experimental approaches, and standardize protocols to investigate the intersection of aging and PD.
